Kukui’ula: Luxury Living in Poipu

Kukui`ula is a luxury lifestyle resort community located on the southern coastline of Kauai in “sunny” Poipu and near historic Old Koloa Town, just 20 minute drive from the Lihue Airport.

Kukui`ula is an incredible luxury resort development on the Southern Coast of Kauai in Poipu that includes over 1010 acres of gently sloping land with incredible panoramic Pacific Ocean views.  Currently the Plantation House, the Golf Clubhouse, Kukui’ula Spa, Pool Restaurant and Bar, 18 hole Tom Weiskopf Golf course, The Farm and some of the 15 miles of hiking and biking trails have been completed.  Kukui’ula is a partnership between Alexander and Baldwin, a long time island developer and DMB, a high end developer from Arizona.  The design concept for the entire project is Old Plantation Style with a very upscale twist.

The Makai Cottage Lots are now being sold as custom lots.  You can build the perfect home for your family, with a pool.  The lots are build ready and the pool site has been blasted to remove all blue rock, one of the hardest forms of lava, for the depth of a normal size pool.  Currently I have several resales in this area. Kukui’ula Custom Lots

These are lots for a custom designed home and most lots are on the golf course. They are usually larger than the lots for the cottage product.  Some will have ocean views.  You could elect to pick out a cottage and if it fits, have that built on your lot.  There are several gorgeous homes going up on these lots.

The Mauka Collection

Kukuiula Bungalows  

This are being built as we speak and feature one, two and three bedroom Bungalows.  As with the Club Cottages, these can be put into the rental pool with guests being able to use all Kukuiula has to offer.  Pricing varies between $2,000,000 – $4,000,000.

Kailani Lots 

This is a brand new release on ocean view lots located on the 3rd hole of the Golf Course.  These lots have been raised by 20 feet to guarantee an ocean view.  Kukuiula will be building some spec homes on these lots but some lots are for sale now.  Pricing $2,500,000 and up.

Club Membership

As a property owner you would have the choice of two different club memberships, the Plantation Club Membership and the Golf Membership. Both allow you full use of the Plantation House, spa, workout facilities, pool, etc. Club memberships are vertical so include the property owner, their parents and their children.  This is a no-cash club and all purchases are put on the members account. The Plantation club member can pay to play golf and tee times are in the afternoon.  Golf Member golf is included and they will get the premier tee times.  The Club privileges are too many to go into here but I can say, without a doubt, this is the most beautiful, plantation style club in Hawaii.  Contact me for more information and membership pricing.
